WordPress is an open source HTML project and available for free and offers content management system, built in PHP programming language and MySQL databases, distributed by Automattic organization under the General Public License version, and developed by a group of talented web developers volunteers. The functionality that WordPress has available allows you to manage any Web site, especially blogs.
Statistics show that WordPress occupies about 33% of all websites on the internet.
The first version of WordPress, announced in May 2003, was version 0.70; it was developed by
Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little, Now the latest version is 5.2.2 and you can download the latest version here.
How to install WordPress in a few steps
Step 1. Download the latest WordPress version from here or choose a different version from here, you can also choose a different language.

Step 2. upload the wordpress zip file to the public_html path in your hosting account. you can upload WordPress files via 3 different methods.
- Unzip the WordPress file and upload to your hosting account via FTP.
- Upload WordPress zip file via the file manager in your hosting cpanel.
- Upload via SSH.
Method A: Upload wordpress files using FTP.
Download FTP client software get FileZilla it’s a free program

After install FTP client software enter your host, username, password, and port 21 then press connect.

Unzip wordpress zip file on your computer.
In FileZilla interface Go to public_html directory path and upload all WordPress folder content to the public_html directory.
